The players are all teenagers in a small fishing village called Byrja. It is situated along a river in the lands of Jarl Thorgen.
There are some limitations in the game.
- Human or Dwarf
- Low magic
- wizards can only be divination and abjuration
- no sorcerer
- no clerics
- eldritch knights are priests of Thor
- bards are priests of Odin
- rangers are priests of Freya
- arcane tricksters are priests of Loki
- warlocks can be archfey only
- maximum of two spellcasters in the party
- Paladins will work in the game with some negotiation
