Jarl Thorgen is a personally powerful man but politically a smaller player in the nation. He is in his late 20's and has one small son. Under his leadership Byrja, Veidi and even a couple of the dwarves from Korthold have taken to the raiding lifestyle more than previous generations.
In battle he and his group of Huscarls can be easily spotted by their blood stained faces and shield. They also have dedications and sacrifices to Thor before and after most battle and on holy days.
