Berg Krieger
Believed to be one of the original tribes ruling the Valley, the Berg Krieger are led by the Dark Hawk, a cunning strategist and unrelenting foe. He united the scattered remnant of mountain dwellers and turned them into a ruthless fighting machine determined to drive out the invaders. They value honour and chivalry and always have each others backs. The roaring fires cast deep shadows upon the stone archways of the castle, festooned with blue black and silver banners. Within the great halls of Calligstag much feasting and merriment takes place as men and women gather to retell the tales of bravery and valour on the battlefield. We are the Berg Kriegers, descendants from a bloodline of ancient warriors. The hidden valley has been our home for centuries and we lived in peace with the other inhabitants but all that changed when war was brought to our shore and the time came to once again take up arms against those who wish to conquer and destroy. Our warriors fight mainly in soft kit and rely on strategies and tactics (and fast running) to overcome the foe. Our shields are emblazoned with three mountain peaks symbolizing strength, endurance and grandeur, and the valley symbolizing our homeland.
