The Children of the Raven are a clan of raiders from the Northern Dales, who enter the Hidden Valley in search of plunder, for their homeland is an inhospitable place. They are not the only clan in the Dales, but they are the ones who raid the furthest. Known to strike by sea or from mountain passes, they take the scalps of their worthy foes as a show of power. They put a high value on strength of arms and worship the Raven as chief amongst their spiritual animal guides, for he feasts on everyone in the end. They are a fusion of Norse culture with Native American shamanistic beliefs.
