Les Chevaliers Sans Chevaux
Les Chevaliers Sans Chevaux, literally ‘the knights without horses’, are a secular order of chivalric knights with associated esquires, archers, mages, taunters and squires; medieval-themed and Monty Python inspired. We live on the northern slopes, where the vineyards thrive, and bring a level of sophistication and culture to the Hidden Valley; we value art and music, we have the best cuisine, the best wine and are often heard speaking with outrageous French accents. When we’re not reading or playing chess, we hunt small latex animals and unwashed outlaws in our lush forests. Les Chevaliers uphold a Code of Chivalry and take the second part of our motto and war cry “Sans chevaux, sans peur” – without horses, without fear – particularly seriously and will seek out honour in battle, either by glorious victory or glorious death.
