Mee goreng

This is a great variation on the standard student meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 x packets of Mee Goreng instant noodles
  • 1 x small onion
  • 2 x rashers of bacon
  • 1 x egg
  • Sweet chilli sauce
  • Soy sauce
  • Lemon juice
  • Frozen vegetables
  • olive oil


Steps
1. Dice onion and bacon then simmer in oiled frypan
2. Put noodle blocks in saucepan of hot water with a serve of frozen vegetables.
3. When onion is starting to brown add egg to onion and bacon mix
4. When noodles/vegetables are cooked drain and add to frypan
5. Add flavour sachets and mix in well
6. Add extra soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce and lemon juice to flavour, mixing in well.
